Driving on sunlight - Solar update

My sub-optimally placed solar panels have reached the 10,000 kWh mark so I though this was a good time to talk about what that means in terms of kilometres/miles driven. What would that have cost me in an equivalent hybrid car to drive that distance? Have the panels paid for themselves yet?
