🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

The Yeti product placement is off the chain 😂
  • @diggdutt
I love the Chef’s attitude. He knows he’s great, he doesn’t have to repeat it and he wants better!
  • @narvul
That chef Kent is so right. When you take an animal's life, you have to do something great with it.
  • @jaimeortega4940
Liked Chef Kent and his philosophy "Just make the best, badass seafood we can make not focusing on becoming a 3 Michelin Star restaurant as the priority." Smart.
  • I am English living in Cyprus and can attest that the Greeks know how to cook!! As a fish lover, but Kleftico, Dolmades, etc are wonderful. Thank you, Sonny & team. ❤❤🙏🙏
  • @ladyluck5400
Probably some of the best, most well produced video series I've seen on YouTube. It was like watching a movie. Sonny makes it so compelling. You can't help but root for him. 👍👍👍

Back in the early 90's I worked at The Paris Cafe in lower Manhattan right across the street from the old fish market. The foot rail around the bar was a steam pipe so the fish mongers could warm their feet while at the bar. I would get off work at about midnight and go to the market to see what they had for tomorrow's special. Very cool for seafood. Ah-✌️🐟

I'm so happy you have big brands like Yeti working with you now! I've been watching you for at least 5 years and it's been amazing to see your growth!!
  • @jakobshapiro9780
Yeti must’ve been strict with their product placement contract huh
  • @alisachamoy225
I've lived in NYC pretty much all of my life and had never heard of Saga. Thanks so much for the informative video and for the great close up shots of the fish! I really appreciate it!
  • @nathans1996
Come to Halifax, Nova Scotia! Amazing seafood and variety from around the world
  • @phyternl
The low cost Greek dishes 364 days out of the year. The tasting menu on my birthday. All of the dishes looked incredible!
  • @ausgepicht
I like the chef at the end. Not faking, being himself, has a passion for food and cooking. Some chefs are like car salesmen and come off as fake and you think, "If a steak fell on the floor, that guy would pick it up and still cook it." This guy comes across as the opposite.
  • @sli8
What brand was that cooler? I couldn't read the name in any of the 100 shot of it. /s
  • @monstermasher86
love you bring fish to the chef and then eating with that chef! so incredible! love the show sunny good job more of this
