"There are no tutorial modes" "Aloy's childhood acts as a tutorial"

the thing that horizon and BotW really have in common is that both focued on making a good game, rather than the "playing it safe" additude most industry executives have which ruins most games.

When I first saw the Stormbird, I was suddenly thrown back to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.. And simultaneously cursed my luck on finding it at level 6.

I love how you have to discover the whole story as you play. It took me right up until the last couple missions to get the full backstory.
  • At some points of time when playing this game, I would see machines, such as watchers, escort other machines down a trail. It really shows how much love, and time was put into its AI, and the game overall.

This game is so damn good. Can't stress that enough. And getting platinum on Horizon isn't extremely hard. So get that bragging right!! Because it's absolutely worth it!!
  • @bennibepler3960
My favourite part was generally Aloy finding out about her origin and the story of the old ones
  • @MrTway88
Should've let Aloy mount The Glinthawk or Stormbird for flying.

*BEFORE YOU COMMENT*: Aloy's name was pronounced inaccurately in this video, as fans of the game we were horrified by this mistake and greatly apologize. Your understanding is appreciated as we strive to be better.... QUESTION: Horizon Zero Dawn's gameplay requires both strategy, stealth and creativity to take down massive mechanical monsters! Which weapons are you most excited to use and do you think HZD can compete with Link's Breath of The Wild? Enter Our Weekly Console Giveaway here: www.leaderboard.nyc/giveaway
  • I love this game. Sneaking around and destroying robotic dinosaur monsters is truly unique and interesting to play.
  • The amount of times you mispronounced Aloy's name made me not even want to finish this video
  • Rockbreakers are the scariest and hardest machine you can encounter

I wouldn’t mind a Horizon prequel that saw the creation of the various tribes, or that follows the story of Rost. In the Rost version, a nice addition, near where he dies in Zero Dawn, we see him following Aloy as she grows up so we get both Rost’s background, and more development to Aloy’s character.

Horizon is definitely guaranteed a nomination for Game of the Year. Depending on what else comes out this year, it's got a great chance of winning!
  • @LivWis
Absolutely loved this game. Having a curious nature and wanderlust, I connected instantly with Aloy and loved the hunger to discover more. I loved finding missions instead of heading to marks on a map to find quests. I also loved Aloy's spunk and disregard for other opinions. Absolutely loved the aesthetic and the story too. This was such a refreshing game and an incredibly beautiful story.
