Ben Kenobi sounds even more epic in a Ghost's Voice of the Force
-
3:03 Sir Alec Guinness will forever be THE voice of Star Wars in our hearts, with a very high honorable mention to James Earl Jones.

Rip Carrie FIsher, May the force be with her. Always.

2:23 Vader’s “WHAT-“ never fails to make me laugh

This clip has the greatest timing of editing in cinematography, the greatest sound sequences, the greatest one-liners, the greatest heroic thrill, the greatest score. Nothing has topped it despite all the new technology over the past 45 years. This is not just science fiction - it's art.

-
New Hope is my favorite movie ever

Gives me chills when Ben says, “Luke trust me.” Without hesitation he turns off his targeting computer. Luke trusted Ben with his life. He meant everything to him.

2:23 Star Wars fans when you say you like all movies and trilogies

The Star Wars saga has always been about the force. People seem to misconstrue and gripe on character and plot. If you follow the force through all parts of each trilogy you’ll have a much more fulfilling time.

The guy who said Stand By. Stand By." was the true hero of this moment according to Legends.

Watching Star Wars in the late 70s for the first time would be MIND BLOWING. A space drama with a religion even more inspiring than the futuristic technology. The Force is an idea we immediately recognize innately as a hidden truth; sure it is a fantasy version of Taoism and Buddhism, yet names don't matter--it is the concept that resonates. It is for the same reason that the material reasons given in the prequels don't resonate. One touches a truth we feel, the other is made up.
