"This is incredible" - and it's live, no auto-tune, no lip-syncing, no gyrating dancers, a real band playing together - passionately. Real musicians!
  • @ed.z.
While he walked away from music he discovered an awesome love affair he cherished right till the very sad end with her passing. He chose love over career. All due respect.
  • They certainly had their day. I don't think Steve Perry ever realized how iconic he was. It was a moment in time.
  • Your reaction is EXACTLY how we all felt seeing Steve live. He is simply The Voice !

Steve Perry was just named the best singer of all time by billboard His fans came out by droves and he won by over 67% of the votes We all know he’s a great singer because we can hear his songs But to think of this man, his beautiful lyrics he has wrote the beautiful music he has composed, but most importantly, he is, and always will be THE VOICE 💙🎤🎶
  • @tedurbina527
My opinion he’s the greatest male singer of all time.

Perry's voice is a fine-tuned instrument, that can go from drifting like a feather, to striking down like a hammer.

"The Voice" melting women's hearts all over the world.

I love how Steve Perry’s first note causes Beth to lose her train of thought and bliss out. You are teenage me hearing this on the turntable for the first time.

I'm a trained musician myself and am in awe of Steve. His voice is beautiful but the technique and control he exhibits in every performance really set him apart.
  • @robertlear2712
Steve Perry is the most technically perfect singer in rock.
  • Man, they just don't make music like this anymore. No autotune, no theatrics, just amazing music. I remember having a Journey poster on my wall as a young girl. ❤❤❤
  • @KainzMusic
Perry could generate so much emotion in his vocals. Add the lyrics to the mix and he could bring onions to tears.
  • @TheDivayenta
That note bending comes from Sam Cooke. Steve listened to Sam’s “Cupid” and was a total goner for him. They also share a birthday! ❤❤❤

This is Journey at their absolute best! I just never felt the same way about them with out Steve. It was a perfect ensemble of characters that will not be matched.
  • @lovemibear
Journey is iconic for anyone that grew up in the 80’s. Their music fills you with nostalgic memories and goosebumps.

He melts every woman who hears him, Steve Perry's voice is amazing 🎉
