It’s so sad because there’s a void in her heart that she can’t fill with money, food, marriage, makeup, attention, no matter how much of it she gets I think she will always feel empty and feel something is missing, that’s why she lashes out that’s why she gets so hurt example losing Shane would have been a lot for her. No matter how horrible of a person she is you can’t help but see how truly lonely she is even surrounded by people
