David Sanborn was a superlative musician, who carried on the tradition of great American music, and a warm, witty, host of a truly great tv show. He will certainly be missed. Thank you, David!!!
-
Not only the supreme music, but also the awkward, unrehearsed real banter makes this series so charming and enduring. R.I.P. David

DIZZY, Diane, David & Onaje! Love it when 3 generations of jazz legends got together and jam on a tv show. The memories, you can't ever get them back. Those who were there back then are gone today. Thank you for achieving it to YouTube. 🥲🥲

Mr. John Birks Gillespie was one of the giants of jazz for a reason - so good to see him perform on this! Like all of the greats of the golden age of jazz, he's gone beyond, to play in The Deity's big band (except for Sonny Rollins, who's still with us).
