Explore the depth of one of history’s most interesting men—Theodore Roosevelt. Watch the two-night event “Theodore Roosevelt” premiering Memorial Day at 8/7c.

"Abraham Lincoln" tells the true story of America's iconic 16th president. Across three two-hour episodes, the mini-series immerses viewers into the world and story of Abe before Lincoln. A young man looking to make his mark, Abraham Lincoln grows into the man who puts himself in a position to lead the young United States through its greatest crisis. By weaving together both scripted dramatizations of important moments in his life and commentary by authoritative historians and public figures-including former President Barack Obama-the series is a portrait of Lincoln determined to leave his mark on the world. The series chronicles the evolution of Abraham Lincoln as a man and as a thinker against the backdrop of a nation increasingly torn over the issue of slavery. As the war rages on, the series shows how, in part due to the efforts and influence of abolitionists like Frederick Douglass, he comes to value the importance of seizing the moment at hand to end slavery in America, once and for all.

Lincoln has to be the most protagonist person ever. You barely have to change anything in Lincoln’s story to make it as interesting as a good book or series. He had many enemies, he had many weaknesses, but his heart was in the right place for the most part.

"We are not enemies but friends. We must not be enemies" . Abraham Lincoln.
  • My favorite Republican is Lincoln and my favorite Democrat is Kennedy simply because they stood up for what they believed in and inspired others.

I have so much respect for this man. President while half the nation wants to kill you. Feeling the pressure for 5 years straight. I read that he had anxiety and had nightmares of his death until the very end. We see him as a historic figure...but he was a mere man like all of us. Yet, look at his impact thanks to his impeccable bravery. Long live Lincoln.

President Lincoln was one of the greatest U.S presidents to ever live end of story.
  • I believe after this Lincoln never again would be embarrassed. He sadly should have kept bodyguards and history might have turned out different. He was too soft on his own protection and that was his demise.
  • Abraham Lincoln won President in 1861 Listening from Mass USA TYVM 💙 Lincoln
  • I believed in the presidents that stood for the people they are there to represent period not just the ones that got them there. Thinkers outside the box.
