Now we start off on the Viltrumite ship and watch Nolan tearing apart the forces of the Viltrumites. Normally after they subjugated a planet they'd force the inhabitants under their rule. These are the aliens that we see here and it shows Nolans back up to speed with how he once was.
We watch him basked in a red light which echoes the time he was in the flaxxan dimension. It really shows how destructive he is and perfectly riffs off a moment from Issue 46. That seen him going against the exact same forces and the show perfectly recaptures what was done there.
Now we learn that this is all just a test to make sure that Nolans again at his best.

Shout out to Angstroms suit tailor accounting for his brain thingy
-
Mark quit playin w our mfing feelings and get wit Eve already 😭
-
Funny how Kate really pulled a Metroman disappearance
-
“its nothing,,, I’m sorry” the scream that l let out when he said that shit ☠️
-
Nolan had a black eye on the same eye as Debbie and mark.
-
When older Eve told Mark she loves him that sht hit hard.
-
The fact Mark flew out of a portal and smacked Angstrom in the face with a Fortnite sniper 😂
-
THE SCENE WITH EVIL MARK WITH THE CAPE WAS FUCKING INSANE MY JAW SLAMMED ON THE FLOOR
-
The show always nails the angst and mood of being a young adult.
-
The whole Grayson family had a black eye in the same place, I thought it was pretty funny but it also shows how they're all still connected and all going through some sort of trauma especially when Omni man says he misses his wife at the end of the episode
-
Fun Fact- Mark’s Mom is Korean. Her living room has a picture that has Korean writing and the Ducks on the table are a part of a Korean Wedding ceremony / gift.
-
That episode went so hard , season 3 is gonna be so insane
-
I feel like marks hands being coated in blood could symbolise him seemingly becoming more like omniman, his red hands mirroring omnimans red gloves
-
Glad I’m not the only crazy person who stayed up till 2am 😅
-
Sometimes I dont understand fans. Mark's character development was so good imo; Everytbing cant be just mindless action. The set up involing anissa threatening ambers life from previous episode help bring mark to his breaking point. Mark breaking down after killing levy was so impactful. Having read the comics twice, i love what how the show is interpretting certain stories.
-
Just finished the episode, haven’t been this invested in a show for a while now👏
-
Mark and eve for life
-
The Batman scene was hilarious
-
We might not have seen the blue and black costume, but the yellow parts of Mark's costume were ripped away during the episode. I thought that served a nice dual purpose as a nod to the title card and a minor additional bit of costume foreshadowing for those who know.
