I think Michael Dorn said it best once. He was asked about being type cast. He said something to the effect of "I've been Worf on 7 seasons of TNG, years of DSN and 4 movies. If this is type casting, bring it on!" Such a good actor.

Michael Dorn is one of those actors who has a role that you couldn't see anyone else do. Worf is definitely one of my favorite characters.
  • @kiraking87
He forgot "Husband of Jadzia Dax. Father of Alexander Rozhenko."

Michael Dorn looks fantastic at 70. Glad that he’s back

"I have made some chamomile tea. Do you take sugar?" I love it! Worf with a little mellow side!
  • Mr. Dorn also played Worf's grandfather, Col. Worf who defended Kirk and McCoy at their Klingon trial in Star Trek 6.

“Bane to the Duras family” - badass

I don’t think I have ever seen an actor embody his character like Michael Dorn does to Worf.

This is by far the greatest iteration of Worf....

Michael Dorn has that James Earl Jones voice. Powerful, deliberate and hyponotic.
  • I really liked that you guys added the house Rozhenko bit. That was a great nod to his history that fans often forget.
  • Man, you guys cannot let this be the end of the road for these actors and characters. They want to do more. We want them to do more. They have the energy. This could be a revival for the entire TNG+ era. Make it so!

Worf is the ultimate Klingon. A practiced warrior, introspective, wise, a product of two worlds, both a teacher and a sensei, and he doesn't just change as he ages, he EVOLVES and refines.
  • The great thing about Worf is that he changes as he moves through life- which is what happens to us in reality. At first challenged by the human/Klingon dichotomy, he struggled to figure out just who he was. Ultimately he took the best from both cultures and made himself into someone he could himself respect- the power and honor of a Klingon warrior with the compassion and wisdom of a human side.
  • I love Worf's deadpan humor. Never change that, writers.

Many years ago (1990 I think) I met Michael Dorn at a con in Hawaii. He was my favorite character because he was the most honorable! I asked him if he had any input as to what Worf said or did. At the time he said “not much.” I’m glad they’re listening to him now!
  • Loved seeing Worf's return. His intro to Raffi was a great way to pay homage to his past and show how far he's come as well.

Absolutely loved how they treated Worf in this series, show runners take note this is how you write a beloved character.

Michael Dorn is practically the definition of chill. I know thievery is considered dishonorable by the Klingon code but apparently that doesn't apply to stealing scenes.
