Two days left of training for Macmillan Cancer Support’s Mighty Hike half-marathon. Today was one of the best hikes yet, amidst scenery I’d only witnessed from a distance. Truly wonderful. I think you’ll enjoy the stunning views in this one. I also talk a little at the end :-)
To recap, I’ve been trying to raise £350 funds for Macmillan Cancer Support who help people living with cancer. They are close to my heart and were brilliant during my own experience.
As of this afternoon, you have helped to raise £1,258. Some of you left anonymous donations. One Instagram friend, a painter and gardener, surprised me with a donation from across the pond. Friends from home and abroad have kindly donated and sent some lovely words of support. I’m so fortunate to know you. And those of you who I don’t know, thank you for placing your trust in me and for your kindness.
