  • Aemond has probably one of the best lines I've ever heard. "Don't mourn for me mother, it was a fair exchange. I may have lost an eye, but I gained a dragon." Hard

The kids they cast did such a great job. Excited to see older Aegon and Aemond and Jace and Luke!
  • The kid playing Aemond is really a natural. No trying hard at all. Even the way he says valyrian words, it’s so good. Sad we only get to see the kids for a couple of episodes. Wish them the best post HOTD.

Young Aemond is one of those characters that you can't fully hate just because of how well the he is portrayed.
  • "I think it came out pretty well." Bless him! Incredibly humble - I'm sad to see this actor go. Young Aemond is definitely a scene-stealer!

From being made fun off for not having a dragon to claiming the biggest dragon in the realm...what a great story.

This kid really impressed me His character is the most intriguing for the kids and the actor sells it and I really believe him

I kinda understand why they did not show Laena claiming Vhagar earlier, as it would make this moment lose weight by being the same type of stuff, but I am glad they did film it so we can have more moments like this in an extended version.

The fact that 10 years old kid taming the largest dragon alive is too badass🔥🔥 🔥 Aemond is the perfect embodiment of how I imagine a Targaryen would be!

They really aced this scene. I have watched this scene more than 10 times now. Gives me chills everytime. Amazing scene.

Man, I envy that kid. It looked like so much fun to film!
  • Leo does such an amazing job as Aemond. I love how he's initially this beaten-down, bullied kid who doesn't have his own dragon, to the rider of the biggest dragon around and so incredibly-confident. I also love how he pronounces the Valyrian language, really rolling it. The later fight with the other kids was absolutely brutal too.

Big props to this actor, he conveyes the riding very well. I could totally feel his excitement the first time I saw this, I was so happy for him

Leo is so cool. I wish him all the success in the world. He’s a team player and a good actor.
  • I love the design of Vhagar! You really convey her age with small details like the excess skin from her neck and her general slow movement, but at the same time she is definitely powerful. The biggest and most dangerous being on the planet (that we know of). And the sound she makes are perfect, the low growls and grumbles conveys just how large her nasal flaps and inner vocal chords must be compared to a human, you would almost hear them vibrate themselves being that close to her.
