STOP! I was watching YOU while cleaning my kitchen!! We are twinsies.

I love how you are not afraid to get rid of part of a set or toy and keep just the part that gets played with! Such a win-win!

Please don't forget to LIKE THIS VIDEO (and maybe consider sharing with someone else you know loves decluttering motivation!)

I loved how you pointed out several sentimental items you love and are USING! Great way to show balance and keeping those things that are useful and beautiful to us!💕

🛏 love making the bed first thing in the morning. I read somewhere once that it’s a ‘snowball’ activity for productivity, as in, when you do something small like make the bed, it makes you feel motivated to tackle something else, then something else etc. Can’t say that works every morning 😅 but a made up bed sure is a nice way to start the day!

Just a thought, for what it’s worth: have a designated flat bedsheet that your kids can lay out on the floor and build their legos on—once it’s time to clean up, they can just scoop up the bedsheet and place it inside the container where they store the legos. Might not work for them, just thought i’d share. 😊
  • I've always leaned towards minimalist, but your channel has been part of helping me bring it to the next level! This one is SO helpful to me

🛏️ Making the bed is a huge must for me. It's part of my daily morning routine, wake up, make my bed and then make my coffee. Making my bed just sets me up for the day before I proceed with my other daily chores. It also makes me happy looking at my bed all made up.

It's wonderful to watch a fellow HSP. Love how much you appreciate nature and bring your emotions into everyday experiences.
  • I have been watching you for a while now and I have to say, your videos are extremely motivational. I always get in the mood to declutter when I see your videos. I would love to be where you are some day with your sentimental clutter. I am still a sentimental “hoarder” and although I’m not the worst, it could always be better haha. Love from Canada 🇨🇦

I love the calm atmosphere in your kids bedroom! Love that you used the extra kitchen cabinets! My daughter has only shelves in her closet. We use Ikea drawer dividers (skubb series) for her clothes. That way I can fold Konmarie style and she can easily find what she needs. And very importantly, when it gets messed up, I don't mind because at least the clothing items are contained in it's own box and don't get stuffed into the back of the closet.

    Love those ENORMOUS windows!
  • @sarahk758
Just realized they have no closet. Oh my Lord, my kids closets are full!!! Setting boundaries for toys, and have about 6 boxes to go donate today. Thank you so much for your inspiration and showing videos of your home! Helps me a lot
  • Watching for the first time! Really like your light and airy appartement! For the boys room, I would add a nice big rug (takes away some of the echo) and some pictures on the wall. But your room, your taste 😉

I actually change seasons in my kids‘ drawer: not because they have a lot of clothes but because I always have to argue why they are not allowed to wear shorts in winter :) I started minimalism before having kids and as I am still working on my clutter we never had that many toys. Nevertheless I will be VERY happy when we can let go of our toddler toys. My son (5) is interested in Legos most and just a few other things and in general really distressed by the amount of toys around him, but my daughter (3.5) is still too young for Legos and so we wait now until they are on the same stage to pass on the toddler things she clearly wants to keep…

I think we would be great friends if we lived in the same country! We moved over with every piece clothing our children owned in their carryon suitcases. My son only wears blue shorts and t-shirts, so it's possible that he has even less clothes than your kids! Well, he does have school uniforms, but even then only 3 sets. We do have slightly more legos and stuffies, but very similar! Since we're not in the UK permanently, I tend to look at everything coming into the house with an eye of how easy it is to pack and move! Also, couch/bed tip. I keep a broom handle underneath the couch so I can easily get out stuff that gets under there. For us its usually only dog toys though. :)
