CORRECTIONS just wanna clear up a few stupid mistakes i made in the first few minutes of the video as to not mis-inform anyone, when i said that Red, Green and Blue were released in Japan in 1996, i should've really mentioned that Blue was included as an exclusive for subscribers of the CoroCoro Comic in 1996, but had a full retail release in 1999, my bad on not mentioning that, also, when i said that green was "switched out for yellow" i meant it in the way that because green wasn't released globally, yellow acted as a sort of substitute 3rd game (alongside blue and red), somewhat taking it's place, really poor wording on my part. I fucked up Weedle's type as i was editing the images, he's bug / poison and not grass / normal. And of course, it's GameFreak that are responsible for the creation and designs of the Pokemon and their generations, i was just using Nintendo as a sort of figure head for the franchise but realised how it could cause some confusion. I normally try to be as accurate with info as i can with these videos but seemed to have missed the mark a little with some of the details, sorry x
  • Truly the gen 1 pokemon were the height of creativity. My favorites are pile of sludge, bigger pile of sludge, eggs with eyes, ball with eyes, bigger upside-down ball with eyes, earth nipple and three earth nipples...
  • Pokemon anime: "got catch them all!" Ash: procedes to catch 10 pokemons per region
  • @Dr_Heavy
2:37 funny thing is that rotom wash is actually good in competitive
  • @furbait3442
I love how Joseppi's favorite pokemon is a monke on fire.
  • @larrylaffer3246
Rotom's actually pretty cool. Since he's got levitate as his ability, he's immune to ground type moves.
  • @StenchSniffer
I love the random freaking videos Joeseppi just throws in. Most of them make me literally die
  • @ItsJustMeAlex
A fridge, a washing machine, a lawnmower, a microwave, that's awesome to use in a pokemon battle
  • @zzzen.
I love how joeseppi calls Pikachu a "yellow bastard"
  • @-No_3-
2:29 so one of the worst battles I have ever expirentsd was in shield , this dude had 3 rotoms , lawn mower washing machine and oven , and kept switching every other turn , it lasted 30 minutes and I needed to recover for 3 hours cuz that was the most psychologically damaging battle I have ever experienced
  • @pikachu-uk1bg
5:30 basically every kid who plays Pokémon. "Moves that don't deal damage are bad" Why is this so true?
  • @shotakami9733
Rotom is motor backwards. That ought to explain the forms that mimic electrical appliances.
  • @keylim3
This video was very nostalgic for me, since I recently got back from living in Japan, and I've been to a lot of those Pokemon shops shown in ur video
  • @yeeoof1995
"What are you supposed to do with a lawn mower?" Run over a row of zombies, maybe?
  • @hmm9441
"Pokemon are running out of ideas" Gen 1: hmmm rock with arms, yes
  • @Muffinzy
The music at the end made my cry, the nostalgia is hard
