To be fair, while this is definitely about Kim, I think it is about Kim and all of the other mean girls like her. Taylor has lightly mentioned the bullying while she was growing up and people that went to school with her confirm it. So I think she used the name of an already famous person but it is directed at all of the mean girls. If she called out a regular person that bullied her in childhood, that could put someone in the spotlight that never signed up for it. I think this is the very classy way to address all of them, and very Taylor.

I love how genuine he is about the music. He's truly a master at reading through the lines, I'm glad I follow him. Isn't doing it just for the clout and makes me so happy.

She said the songs on this album fit into the five stages of grief (in no particular order). Obviously we have “anger” here. In the song “Cassandra” (also referencing Greek mythology) she takes down the media, Kanye and the whole Kardashian family. In “But Daddy, I love him” she takes shots at the music industry, the media, judgmental people, and even some of her fans who think they should have a say in her life choices. The best jab is thanking Kim for everything because Reputation was a monster album and tour and really the slingshot to Eras. Taylor made a billion dollars, and Kim is a fading celeb who's marriage to the crazy person who caused all this blew up, and now she has to deal with him till her kids are 18. Thanking Kim is the most savage part of the whole song.
