Just listening to this wondering how fast life goes by…when I was a child I would wish all the time to grow quickly and I couldn’t wait to be an adult. As an adult now, I wish I could go back to being a child with no worries. I miss it so much.

Reminiscing my childhood days makes me end up crying . I miss my Mom and Dad on how they took care for us when we were very, very young and a lot of happy moments with them.. I’m at a Disney hotel tonight trying to fall asleep before I begin my dream trip with my best friend and service dog! This is my first time traveling without my parents and I’m kind of nervous about how this trip is going to go but I’m REALLY excited and ready for this adventure. Is it just me that gets emotional listening to this? I’m not old by any means, but it makes me miss being a kid. I didn’t have the best childhood, my stepdad was abusive and my mom and him separated when I was only 9. Growing up, I didn’t really get to experience a childhood because my stepdad didn’t help raise my siblings and my mom was always at work. So being the oldest, I had to step up. Even if I was only 5/6. Disney was my comfort place though, and finally I got to go at 14. I may not got to see the “magic” in it, but it was still so fun and this heals my inner child. Being a child, life should be carefree and not worry about the world ahead. You’re still innocent. When I have kids, I really want to give them the best life.
