Ken, I had to pause the video for a while after watching you nail down the plywood roof panels, I was completely exhausted and nearly done in. Not only are you an excellent videographer/narrator and gifted engineer/housewright you have the energy/spritelyness to outwork a teenager.

Chad, I think was your helpers name, you need to give that guy a raise. He is an asset to the way you build. He had material right there when you needed it. It was fun watching y'all work together. Both knowing what the other is doing. Great video.
  • Smooth, Ken, the way you all work together brings back many memories. My dad was a carpenter most of his life, and passed at age 96 - I remember as a small boy waiting for my turn to "go to work with dad", and the competition with my other brothers (there were 8 boys in this family) 2 of my older brothers were later contractors, and built mostly custom designed homes. Looking forward to the next episode...
  • Merry Christmas guys, As a old timer….I found out that you can use Diesel truck airline antifreeze in your air compressor to keep your air tools from freezing up so bad in the winter. It worked for me with air chisels. And have a happy new year too.

As a old retired construction worker, with a Dad, Grandfather, and other family members who also did/do construction, it's always nice to watch someone doing "nice" work and doing it quickly, efficiently, and organized via taking the time and effort to figure out how to be so accurate, organized, and never waste a step. Most modern/current workers don't possess the work ethic, pride in their work, or care about any of the above. Thanks for upholding the "Craftsman" tradition !!!
  • Watching you two work is so easy, it's like you know what the other is thinking, magic!
  • Good morning, Ken. Thank you yet again for another great video. You all make it look so effortless and always a job well done. I'd like to wish you, your family, your crew and their families, as well as your subscribers, a Blessed Christmas and a very Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year!

I wish I could make a house like that. Helped recently to dig foundation and put concrete floor for my garden house. First experience in such construction. The house garden is bought. I will soon help to install it. One of my dreams is to make a wooden house. Maybe it will never happen due to age and family situation but I love to see these type of YT. It keeps my dreams alive. One never knows what is next.
  • Absolutely LOVE your videos. I built a lot of houses over the years and I can honestly say that it is WAY more fun to watch someone else. You run a very good crew. I look forward to your next build. Well done. 👍👍

Today is Friday, Dec 23, 2022. Here in Memphis, TN, it's 1° F at 6AM. We have about an inch if snow. It's not supposed to get above freezing until Monday. I think y'alls weather came down here. I don't know how you do it. Praying for y'all. Love your videos.

Amazing builds. Thank you for sharing. Love your videos.
  • I love how yall do this so efficiently! I guess being at it a long time helps you figure out these things. I enjoy watching your vids and appreciate your overall attitude. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
  • Precision built… awesome Work Guys. I’ll be needing one in a couple of years!!
  • Much appreciation for your effort and commitment to continuing your videos during this winter break.
  • Good evening from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I really like watching your YouTube channel. You are truly a great carpenter that cares about his craft.

Excellent video, well done!! I have wanted a garage similar for many years, nice going!!

A great video to watch Ken, … you two guys make a project like that look extremely stress free and rewarding!!! You two seem to enjoy the work and work well together. I get a little nervous when I see a guy your age up on a roof in winter especially with steel!!! Not that I’m saying you’re an old guy, … just we both are no longer eighteen!!! Lol Wishing you both a great new year with good health and happiness!!! Thanks again for the wonderful video!!! Art
  • I have a preference for white tarps, makes it much lighter to work under and cooler for summertime. Once again I am impressed by tour teemwork and efficiency--Mikey, Belfair, Wa(formerly Sequim and West Seattle)
