Finally, a youtube post apocalyptic short that get the abandoned city, long hair, dirty fingernails and worn out clothes. Dude was already dead, he just didn't know it yet.

Introverts have trained their whole lives for this day.
  • Desperate solitary times, that need for human connection, impending madness without this, a crackling voice on the radio, stark raw emotion, hallucinations, birth & death.

Out of all the YouTube short films there are on the post apocalypse this is one of the better ones. This was actually believable. Wish they were all this intriguing cause trying to find a good one on YouTube is like sifting through a dumpster. Most of the people that make them make it obvious that they’d be among the first to die when the shit actually happens, like, for real. But this one impressed me. I’m no Hollywood critic or even a person who understands the process of filming movies or even anyone who’s opinion matters, but it was good
  • Wait whaat?! only 349 views? I honestly feel blessed that i stumbeled upon this amazing film.

What a film. So much despair and hopelessness. Deserves a lot more attention
  • It is so rare to see something original these days, and that is why this short film is so great. It is something new and unpredictable. Great Job !! I want to see more !

Moral of the story: try to stay human under all circumstances, then you'll have a chance to meet other humans.
  • Often we forget that insanity will be an inescapable enemy in an post-apocalyptic world.

A stunning film. I watch a lot of post-apocalyptic fiction and this is one of the best I have ever seen. A man driven nearly mad with desperation to connect with another human being encounters another person with the same need, but long years of survival have hardened them to the point that they are poisonous to each other. I felt it. Very well executed. Great production value. Superb attention to detail, and you avoided so many of the typical post-apocalyptic tropes. (No shot of him eating out of a can and tossing it aside or looking at what's left in a water bottle.) You focused on what's important--the emotion, the need for hope juxtaposed against the fear of embracing it. Well done.

Wow!!! I have watched a lot of post-apocalyptic long and short videos and this is at the very top of them all. Everything was perfect from the actors, the story, the lack of unnecessary dialogue, the perfect post-apocalyptic looking locations, etc.. Thank you for making this and please make more like this. Maybe a sequel or a prequel. Thank you all!

This was a really damn good post-apocalypse film, the longing for human contact and companion and when he finally finds it it cost him his life. Really enjoyed this one
  • I have lived in despair of this world for 10 years. Yeah I’d go mad out there eventually but I really don’t like people anymore. I would feel free being completely alone talking to myself. Really well done btw I think this film captures what life would be like for the leftovers when society collapses.
  • I've been watching a BUNCH of these, and this is one of my favorites.

I was surprised like the man when the radio suddenly made a sound. This film has excellent cinematic beauty, immersion, and deep lingering effects.
  • @takispothitos
... wow ... that was intense ... You can really feel the despair. Superbly done guys!!!
  • Just as we feel the importance of being when something disappears, this short film made me feel humanity strongly. I thought, "What's meaningful if I'm alone even if I have everything?" and I thought again about the meaning of love. For me, this short film instilled a great will in me, just as someone's words or small actions can mean a lot to me and instill a strong will. Thank you for making a good short film.

I really like this because it shows the perspective of the scary guy, who is just another victim of the circumstances. It's thought provoking and counter intuitive.
  • @exodia__
So good guys, you should be proud. The sound ambient, the atmosphere, the actors... Perfect. Hope you're gonna find more people to watch your amazing work.
