Inside out 2 will be in theaters June 2024

Inside Out 2 is an upcoming American animated film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures as the sequel to Inside Out (2015). It is being directed by Kelsey Mann (in his feature directorial debut), produced by Mark Nielsen, and written by Meg LeFauve. The film stars the voices of Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, and Lewis Black reprising their roles, with Tony Hale, Liza Lapira, and Maya Hawke joining the cast.
Development of Inside Out 2 began in September 2022 during the D23 Expo announcement, with Mann, Nielsen, and LeFauve attached as director, producer, and writer, respectively, while Poehler was revealed to reprise her role. The film features Pete Docter's "five to 27 emotions" idea from the first film that Mann pitched during its production to utilize "truthful" worldbuilding.

Inside Out 2 is scheduled to be released on June 14, 2024.
