Stardew Valley - Ethical Two-Year Perfection

Published 2024-03-16
I realize this is a very abridged video. To explain everything would take hours, but I'll be happy to answer any questions in the comments. I have attempted this run maybe six times and have successfully completed it five times (I forgot to ship a spring onion on my first run). My last completion was on the Switch playing co-op with my wife.

When I say ethical I mean the following:
1) No mods
2) Random Seed
3) Community Center completion
4) No outside tools other than the wiki
5) Most importantly - no resetting days (aka save scumming)

That last requirement is the one most people seem to struggle with. No matter how bad a day is going, I never reset a day.

The only three things I worry about completing are the five golden walnuts from muscle nodes on the Ginger Island beach, the two snake vertebrae from Ginger Island west artifact spots, and getting all eight crafting recipes that come from weekly bulletin board quests. The latter seems to not be an issue because the same seems to prioritize those quests until they're completed.

Thanks for the video. Do you know if, when it comes to Grandpa's Evaluation there is any difference from having achieved perfection and getting 12+ points without having achieved it? That is, do I get something else or just the Statue of Perfection? Hope you answer, and good luck with the game as well!
