Buddy y’all should take a log of the pecan tree and ask Cuz to make y’all a bowl out if it and maybe a platter as a keepsake since y’all loved it so much ! What a blessing to have Jake and Jenny and Robert to come help y’all get the tree cut up and moved!!

The pecan tree you loved probably saved the entire corner of your house from extensive damage!! How awesome that everyone came together to help!
  • I love how the whole family comes together to help each other. The best part is you don’t have to ask for the help, they just show up.

Rub some olive oil on the pecan stump, hands on it, and PRAY over it. Your faith will cause it to regrow! You might even have more than one come up and have to replant them. This is an example of having a broken heart and Psalms 41:3 tells us God will heal the brokenhearted. I am glad nobody was hurt and you have a chance to repair and heal things quickly, I pray this in Jesus name, Amen. God bless the Denman Homestead. 🙏🙏

That pecan tree likely gave up its life to help keep your house from getting even more damaged by giving that tree trunk some support … so sorry … it’s nice your family & friends rallied to help make it a little easier cleanup! It’s good you came home … love you guys❣️

Norma here. Aww Buddy, I hate to see you looking so sad, exhausted and almost defeated. I know it’s just everything hitting you. All the driving, the work, the stress and the heat. I also know that you’ll be back to your old self in no time. I’m so sorry about the pecan tree and I don’t know it’s history, but you can always plant another to replace it. Hope it doesn’t take too long before your roof can be repaired or replaced. I remember back in the early 2000s, my town was hit by 3 hurricanes all within a years time and everywhere you looked, everyone’s roofs were covered with bright blue tarps. Just remember not to dwell on the disaster, but on all the helpers and you had plenty of helpers. Jake just amazes me with his willingness to help anyone in need……the same way that you and Steph are always there for others. God bless the Denmans and praise God that no one was hurt and that your home is still standing.
