I guess this think will have a few new tricks - crawling the wall and the ceiling for example.

Can we do some research on how we kill it if need be :)
  • I heard 15 W The Highlander.😊 Scott Really gave away his age when he said Romper room😊
  • Just a quick question, would there be any benefit to having a quad armed humanoid robot? I always feel like I could use another set of hands
  • @MyIncarnation
useful for moving boxes, but apart from that nothing new. Look at the hands.

When A.I. does take over I hope it comes in the form of Valerie 23 😜

There's no left or right arms - they're both the same.

I have heard that the average brain consumes 20 watts but maybe it is 100. Someone needs to check on that.
  • Am I the only person who thinks the video could be CGI ? The background, the focusing, the too-smooth zooming, all seem like CGI to me. I don't doubt they are working on such a robot, but I think this vid might be CGI for their aspirations. *EDIT: I've since seen a clearer copy of the same video, and it does look realistic.

Great what they show. The hardware is more than impressive. However it's also important to note what they haven't shown. Nothing showing anything that requires the operating system to perform any task. No sorting, no mimicking moves, nothing. So I think that Boston has to be working out a deal with someone like Nvidia for the AI training and control software. As great as this video is it shows Boston still has many issues get a robot that's ready to do anything but what is programed into it.
  • None of these look designed for factorys imo. Cherry picking warehouse temporary staffing jobs perhaps. More like hotel dumb waiters, park n rec garbage, load, unload, stack unstake. Safe gaurd traffic & hall monitors. Helper for ground work construction, movers ,home aid, hospital & sky scrapper office to and fro carry stuff bots.
