  • @IBESMusic94
The full game feels like an extended demo/first build
  • @chachisvase765
Also love Jay's tribute to drunk V1 at the Motorhead show saying "PLAY THE GAME"
  • @michaellong9341
Still need a Brucie Bonus episode of you guys explaining the story mode of 2k20 to OOC.
  • @Wainy_16
If you win the Masters you get the green jacket. If you win the Tour de France, you get the yellow jersey. Does that mean if you win the Owen... You get the blue blazer?
  • @CaptainMcKayRandom
Cody appearing in both in the same year is amazing. I think Bret Hart did the same in 98 with WWF WarZone and WCW/nWo Revenge. Only the truest of royalty can accomplish such a feat
  • Just gotta say anyone who bought this game based on OSW’s review, the game is good but the story mode is lacking. I watched this review and got the game because I thought the story sounded cool, but it’s not how it’s sold like. All the storyline’s you do in the game are completely disconnected, with no real connection. You can win the tag titles and then you’ll just never defend them or even be mentioned as tag champ.

There were times where I questioned the honesty of V1/Matt in this review, especially with how hard they defended what are objectively pretty bad graphics. Enjoying a video game is of course subjective but this review felt bordering on shill-work at times.

The roster inclusions are interesting. Having Yuka Sakazaki, who has made just over 20 appearances - mostly on Dark and Dark Elevation, but no Jamie Hayter or Toni Storm is a strange choice but is probably a relic of the long development time. Also, having Keith Lee but no Swerve is strange.
  • @marcespinoza6068
The create a wrestler versions in WWE 2K are better than most of these character models.
  • @CallumRSU30
Crying shame Billy Gunn isn’t in the game (yet…) should be right on the front cover, bigger than anyone else!
  • @silentsilence5785
Played the game for about one month, it feels like I've played it all and have already moved on to wwe2k23
  • @greatheightsu
Praying for Brody King and Buddy Mathews additions to this game. They are my lost boys with the coolest movesets.
  • @GodTheBear
I haven't played this game since the 2nd week it was out. The entire package was just so damn disappointing. Really expected more given how much Kenny said he was involved.
  • @WhyAlwaysMe1888
V1 saying that this game will hold up in 20 years in terms of graphics whereas 2k23 will look terrible is very strange I think it’ll be looked back on like the impact game in that it aged really poorly with its different style
  • @CrazyMammaJamma
All of the years of development and a mountain of money later... and we get a AAA game that looks like a mobile game.

5:25 Cody is far from the first person in history to be officially licensed in two rival wrestling games in the same calendar year. Bret and Bulldog were in both WWF War Zone and WCW/nWo Revenge in 1998. Jericho was in both WWF Wrestlemania 2000 and WCW Mayhem in 1999. Hogan and Eddie Guerrero were in both WWE Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth and Legends of Wrestling II in 2002 (and Hogan was also in WWF WrestleMania X8 for GCN). Andre, Bret, Jimmy Snuka, and the Road Warriors were all in both Showdown: Legends of Wrestling and WWE Smackdown vs. Raw in 2004 (and Andre, Bret, and Greg Valentine were also in both Showdown and Day of Reckoning on GCN). I'm sure there may be other examples.

To correct Yukes and WWE relationship breaking down, after 2K19, Yukes announced that they were making their own wrestling game because they wanted to make “something else” in their own words. 2K hated that, took half-baked 2K20 away from Yukes, gave it to Visual Concepts, and resulted in the fine mess that was 2k20.
  • @TheCtp96
People have been complaining for years that the 2k games dont have some match types like special Guest referee and Inferno but this fucking game doesn't even have a cage matchs
