We have all been waiting and anticipating a new generation of Toyota RAV4 to come. With the 2025 model Toyota RAV4 around the corner, we have not heard of any redesign as of yet.

Which means RAV4 redesign should get pushed to the 2026 model at this point. I highly believe that Toyota is not going to hold out in any regard with making this. The absolute best Toyota RAV4 ever made.

What do you think?

  • I would like the hood to be sloped down more for road vision, electric folding side mirrors, and some kind of theft protection for the catalytic converter! Theft is rampant.

Imagine having a design that can last 7 years with massive sales. Amazing
  • Slope the hood down instead of extending it out straight. I want to see the road better.

You mentioned this current design would have been around for five years, but since it was redesigned in 2019, that would make it 7 years (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025)

"Maybe in 2026 or even 2027" it's like my grandmother predicting the weather 🥴

More great insight, thanks so much Marcello!! I had settled on getting a Corolla Cross Hybrid XSE. But after watching your video, I checked out the Rav4 XLE Hybrid and you're entirely right; it has everything I need for just about the same price. And from everything I've ever seen, the Rav4 is an awesome vehicle. So, I know Rav4 Hybrids are kind of unicorns here in Toronto, but if I go into the dealership now to order an XLE Hybrid, do you think it'd be likely I'd end up with a 2026 vs 2025? I am not in a hurry at all, I have no problem waiting as long as it takes for the right vehicle for me. Thanks again for all the info Marcello, you've been an amazing resource as I try to nail down my new Toyota purchase!
  • I have a 2024 XSE with the Premium Package. I would have loved to have seen folding mirrors at that price point.
  • @ja6ix
Yeah hopefully they design a better looking RAV4 inside out
  • No turbo please!!! If they redesing the way they design the prius, it will be fantastic. Hybrid only for me make alot of sense too! I will follow your channel to get update because i want to order a rav4 at the summer of 2025 to get the new one so thank to get us update. 👍👍

Increased sound insulation / reduced road noise. Change position of petrol/hood release buttons - make visible from normal driving position. Great choice of interior and exterior colours (new korean and chinese cars in Australia) look great. Increase tailgate speed.
  • oh this re-design will be a BIG one! its all i can say at this time! and yea 100% hybrid only

With such a popular selling model, they will need to ensure the entire supply chain is ready to keep up with high volume manufacturing. Logical to use 5th gen hybrid like Camry.

After being more aggressive looking for 2019, don’t believe Toyota will reverse course and make it more car like. I think the 2026 will lean more towards its big brothers in the SUV class.
  • On all models can they have a sliding cover on the key so it does not keep going off in my pocket. Also auto parallel parking on the top models. Make sure the rear camera is in the centre so you can use it to back on to a trailer please.

'23 XSE w/ tech pkg is my first new car in 16 years since I keep car(s) for long time. But I'm looking forward to 6th gen. No power passenger seat, no front ventilated seats, no power folding side mirrors, and weird door handle position are giving me bit of buyer's remorse. I know Limited has'em but no way I'm taking a loss and trade it in for the same gen.

Solid state batteries with extended range in both the hybrids and the Primes.
