You can see that Benny did care for Beth’s well being but Benny pushing her away at the end. It was rash and clearly a harsh thing to do so. Except they do complete each other and pushes the best of them out. I’ve said this before— and I’ll say it again. Benny and Beth needed more than one episode together 🤧

Sad there won't be a second season. Beth's story is one of the greatest, but they should make a second season about Benny's life. We barely know nothing about him! Like I'm pretty sure there's a story explaining why he always carries a knife or why this hat or this coat. Why does he live in a basement like poor guy when he was US champion of chess and earn a lof of money? Why doesn't he don't like when people drink alcohol? What happens with Cleo, why didn't they together?
