with that out of the way, jesus christ this episode was brutal as hell
i did expect side characters to die but keyes AND one of the spartans??? caught me so off guard like holy hell, still a really good episode but what on earth
but seriously this is worth a watch i think

Taking the Spartans armour in the middle of the night was def akermans way of killing off the spartan 2s

ALWAYS respect the 1 v 1. Arbiter pulling a team kill after that might be the most accurate halo game move this show has done

Honestly taking em out of their armour and throwing them into combat is a cool way to show how well trained the Spartans are. Makes the combat have some stakes. Chief without a helmet isn’t inherently bad, he takes it off in the books. It just has to be done in moments that have weight and this actually does for a change.

After watching this episode and after they- we lost Vannak I knew that just got personal for Master Chief and i can definitely tell in episode 5 that he will be out for blood

I like the jackal "gladiators" with those energy daggers(like the Elites had for assassinations in Halo Reach).

Vannak's Death was very painful tbh, literally brought back the Noble's team Sacrifice's 😢😢.

Honestly, this episode was rough. Some people died and I wasn't ready for them to die this early. I had the GoT vibe in this one

For me it was better that spartans didnt have their armors, that only proves that spartans are still competents and a menace without it

You know, this is the one time I'll defend the Spartans being without arnor. It is honestly a 100% ONI thing to pull some shady shit lìke take the Spartan IIs arnors so that Dr Halsey can be undermined and Ackerson can play the hero by introducing the Spartan IIIs.

I was in a state of shock the first time I watched Vannik 134 's death. The 2nd time I cried.
