I remember my grade 8 science teacher, Mr. Grossier, said, "Judas Priest, Van Halen - where are those bands going to be in thirty years?" He said that the year Judas Priest released Screaming for Vengeance in 1982.

Rob Halford is without doubt the greatest metal singer of all time. To still be singing like that at 72 is quite amazing.
  • Outstanding classic Priest - Rob sounds fantastic. A word also for Glenn Tipton, who has been suffering with Parkinson's since 2008 and is still out there, doing it at 76. Simply metal Gods...
  • @markweber4854
Rob Halford was, is and always will be... THE METAL GOD!
  • Holy shit how does he still do this? I'm floored, what an inspiration! Halford 🤘🤘🤘🤘
  • @Wagoo
You could slot this song onto Painkiller and it'd fit right in. It's incredible and I'm really looking forward to the album dropping and seeing Judas Priest (with Saxon and Uriah Heap) next April. Long live the Metal God \m/
  • @LotoTheHero
Rob still sounds phenomenal, and it makes me so happy that he's able to keep doing what he loves. That track slaps so hard, can't wait to hear the rest of the album!
  • The Rolling Stones and Judas Priest have both blown me away with their new material. Great stuff!
  • @moreheff
Bloody amazing that Rob Halford (and the rest of Priest) can still perform like that. May I politely suggest that once all your touring duties are over maybe you could arrange a long chat via podcast with Rob? Would love to hear how he has looked after himself so that he can still rip a vocal like that! Also, with everything he has seen (and dealt with) over the decades he would have some great stories to tell and would love to hear his views on the current crop of metal out there. Happy touring Justin
  • @williamevans6455
Rob has been my favorite metal singer for nearly 4 decades, and man his voice is still killing!
  • @BronzDano
NEVER underestimate these legends. Their longevity is well deserved and their legacy is undeniable.
  • @dennism7532
Rob actually sounds better than he has in years. He has developed a little gravel in his voice that enhances the tone.
  • @Sabre_Wulf1
As soon as I heard it a week ago..robs voice stood out as staggeringly good. Blew me away. Not only powerful but laced with intent and purpose. Great lyrics too.
  • @bouzoukiman5000
I met Rob Halford on the street in San Diego about 20 years ago. He was so good to my wife and I. Pure class
  • @kathrynhegedus
His voice is still incredible! Just goes to show age is just a number. Gives me hope for the future. 🤩
  • @julianoviedo
Hey Justin, I am certain that in 20 more years you will sound as amazing (in your own style, of course) as Rob still does. You are in my top five vocalists/performers of all time. I appreciate your contribution to music since the past 20 years. Please come back to Mexico to headline an epic show!
  • @leeforrester466
Ex Judas Priest guitarist KK Downing`s newest record sounds great too! Now, we have two of these bands playing good old school metal. Rob still has it for sure, can't wait to hear the rest of the record!
  • @Howbee
I know Ozzy, Dio, Lemmy, Bruce Dickinson, and Halford are all metal gods. But for my money, Judas Priest were the first of those bands that really chose to be "metal" with the speed, aggressiveness, and metallic sound. The fact that Rob Halford is still melting our faces decades on is hugely inspirational. What a legend.
  • My first record was a copy of Sad Wings of Destiny that my grandfather gave me. He had it in his record collection next to some crazy Trio Los Panchos and Willie Nelson stuff. I remember the first time he spun it and the peak moment of Victim of Changes was like hearing a giant eagle fire laser beams out of its eyes. It’s actually insane his voice still has that magic.
