Myself as a French I feel moved by this song performed in my mother tongue so brillantly. Thanks Switzerland for reminding people of the fact Europe is not only English-speaking/singing area... even if I love using English language. For those who aren't French-speaking I leave you Gjon's tears' explanations about the meaning of this song that he developed in an interview on Swiss TV channel RTS1. This is a song in which he wanted to make each one think about the mystery of life (why are we here? what's our main purpose on Earth exactly? How can we live happily? etc.). The title of the song "Répondez-moi" means "Answer me" literally. It refers to all those facing the complexity of human life who are in a profound search of significance & seek answers to their numerous questions desperatly. Gjon's tears wanted people who have deep existential thoughts permanently to have a reflection of themselves in such an event like Eurovision where fun & shallowness are the basics. But the young singer added that the words of this song also tell people to focus on present time when everything can be created. As U can see this song has a strong potential through its lyrics as well.

I'm born in Switzerland, my family is from germany. In Switzerland people say I'm german, in Germany people say I'm swiss. It really hurted me but I learned that my home is were my heart is in Switzerland. That doesn't mean I will forget my german family background. Both countries are a part of me. The point is that all who are debating if Gjoin is swiss or albanian are hurting him. Even if he doesn't show it, it does. He's family background Albania but his home is Switzerland. He loves both. So stop this rediciulas debate about from were he is because you hurt him with this. Respect that he is both. PS: he mentions this in the song

only people with pure soul can love Gjon and his songs.

I hope he goes to Eurovision again, he should get what he deserves and he deserves the victory.

This is one of the most beautiful song that in this contest and in the history of the Eurovision. I can't stop listen to it.
