Hassen was trying to pass Tigist and take the left corner but Tigist narrowed the space and finally pushed each other. Tigist didn't expect Sifan was coming from her left shoulder. It looks like 50/50 push. The mistake Tigist Asefa had made was waiting Sifan Hassen until the final minute. Sifan Hassen's Marathon strategy is following the best ones closely until the end and finally use her sprinting speed to win the Gold. Tigist Asefa should have separated the pack early.

For all the people that think hassan did something wrong: the protest of assafa was denied . She tried to cut of hassan who did hold her line . Than you get Pushed. You do that in cycling or formula 1 , you get pushed also . If there is no space you cannot cut someone off .
