  • hey everyone, just wanted to say thank you to each and every one of you for watching, and supporting us over the past year and a half. Recently we have been out filming in the middle of nowhere, so i havent been able to really respond to any comments, as we only have access to internet a few hours a week. thank you for commenting, and liking, that really helps us out a lot, and again, thank you for watching, and if you are new to the channel, please consider subscribing, that would really help us out. just wanted to give a shoutout to sam from "detecting dakota" on youtube, who has been helping us out with some dig sites, and you guys should check out his channel. i will link his page at the bottom of this comment. also, we have a patreon for anyone who wants to sign up and help us out. you can watch content early, we try to stay at least a few weeks ahead over there. but if you cant afford it, then no worries, because the videos we release over there will be out on the channel eventually, so you wont miss anything. you can go to patreon.com/ and type in "below the plains" or check the link in the description. and again, i just want to say thank you all for watching, it's been really great building this channel, and all of the nice comments we get from you guys has been amazing to read. THANK YOU ALL.. so much. we appreciate you all very much heres a link to detecting dakota, plz check him out, he is a guy who got recommended out channel and got into contact with us, and he's a real gem of a person, so you should check out his videos, and tell him we sent you: youtube.com/@samsager1/featured
  • I'm the kid that was on Venture North "History in a Bottle" on PBS back in the late 70s. I found the only known Aurora Seltzer Bottle and it was in mint condition. I'm originally from the iron range in Minnesota. "Biwabik" I now find very old artifacts in Pennsylvania. 💪😎

What a great channel. I found a 1935 dog tag in my own yard putting up a pool. House was built in 1926, my father wanted to dig up an area he stumbled across while dealing with cesspool problems. We thought he was nuts, might just do it now!!!
  • I can't get over how many bottles you come across in them pits they were in good condition can't wait for you to open the 2nd pit all the best tom and jake Andrew south wales uk 👍 👌 😀 🇬🇧
  • I'm so amazed at how fast your videos go by and how relaxing it is to watch and learn new things from your exploring! Thanks so much for making these digs enjoyable! Take care and stay hydrated on those hot days! 😊
  • Love the little Figurine - intact and very pretty indeed ! Amazing Cooking Pot and Cool and some Rare Bottles - Pit 1 is done ! Another Great and Exciting Dig ! Cheers from Australia !!!!
  • Million thanks for pic of blue and white bowl, as you can tell I don't know anything about what you dig up, I just love the shapes, colours, the contents and where they are from with a passion. I get quite vocal when I'm watching 🤣lol. The old "cure all" bottles in previous videos were a joy, never thought I'd see a real one, only knew they existed from watching Westerns when I was a girl. Thank you for brining things to life, amazing stuff. Looking forward to pit 2.

Who would have ever thought that this stuff is below the ground in lawns and driveways of older homes. I wish I had x-ray eyes. You seem to find these areas quite easily.
  • A good assortment of bottles, pottery bits and more. Always waiting to see what the next item will be unearthed as you dig deeper. See you on the next dig!

My Mother bought a house in Ohio that was built some time just before the turn of the 20th century. It was very similar in appearance to this house. There had been at least two suicides in the house. One was the brother of one of the school bus drivers I had. She came to the house after we had talked on the bus. The house had sat vacant for several years before we moved from California in 1979.
  • Thank you Jay for being a huge help in the process of building this house & for being such a good teacher to Abby. You are the man for sure.‼️‼️ Abby is very fortunate to have you.💜
  • Thx for sharing. Been waiting for it as I do every weekend. Cheers.
  • Really nice bottles Tom. Been waiting for your video. Really enjoy them so I can see every nice bottle you dig

I would love to see an added section at the end of these showing all of the saved finds cleaned up and displayed instead of just dirty. A bit disappointed that you didn't notice the glass bottom top right in front of you at 23:00. Looks like it might have been from the retrieved bottle.
