This video is a re-upload, the audio in the previous version was corrupted.

This is a mobile tool kit I keep in my vehicle. It’s made from a mix of excess tools and a few new additions.

You need to add some fuses. I used to be a certified auto mechanic, and 99% of the time when a vehicle breaks down, you need a part more than a tool, and since you can't carry every spare part, get yourself some two part epoxy packets, or JB Weld or both. Now you can hopefully make a field repair that will get you to some real help. Also, check whatever kind of repair or bonding agent you have and see what it needs to actually work, like a clean surface, and then add that type of cleaning agent to your kit as well. You're just trying to limp home here. I'd also add some Bars Leaks for any sort of coolant leak. This stuff works, and all vehicle manufacturers add it to their new engines and drive trains including the military. I'd also add an emergency fan belt repair kit, and some sort of tire plug kit. Then add a spool of heavy mechanics wire to wire up an exhaust or hold a bumper on, after you hit a deer or the ditch or something, until you get home. You also need some good heavy duty duct tape to tape up any leaking hoses, and then loosen the radiator cap so pressure can't build up and blow out past your tape. Keep up the great work.

Excellent video and swell thought out kit, especially with some of the suggestions from the comments section. One thing I don't see is any sort of test lamp or multimeter...Either would be a great addition especially one of the small multimeters that we available now...3 or 4 foot hank of electrical wire might be useful too...
  • Great video!! Lot of good items. I have a kit similar but will be adding a few things after this video😂👍💪

Solid kit, maybe add some barb hose connectors to the ends of the fuel line and hose clamps of the appropriate size. Hose repair tape is also good.

I use pass through type ratchets and sockets so I only have to carry one set of sockets not deep and regular. Also for combination wrenches I carry ratchet wrenches. I also carry a set of fencing pliers and combination lineman’s pliers that have a set of strippers and crimpers on them along with my cobras and parallel jaws it limits the amount of pliers that I carry and multiplies the usefulness of what I do carry. Just some thoughts.
  • Glas I came across this. I have a bunch of sockets and misc. Tools laying around and have been wanting to create kits like these four our cars.
