One of 4 cemeteries on Galveston Island, Texas, as I understand the oldest of the 4, checking out how neglect, time, and weather have taken their toll, yet looks still beautiful to this day

The building with green tile roof belongs to the cemetery. It is 3 religion cemetery, divided by two low walls. I was born on the island, and my great-grandfather is buried in this cemetery. Every year yellow wildflowers bloom and turn the cemetery into a blanket of yellow.
  • Wow Adam. Loved this video! You are so respectful to the dearly departed, it's so kind of you. I know alot of people do paranormal investigations, but I'm a "rest in peace" kind of lady. Beautiful headstones and monuments, too many to count. I think the mausoleum with the beautiful doors and urns is a Frank Lloyd Wright style, and the cottage reminds me of s thatched cottage.

Those are called above ground vaults. It's surprising that there weren't more of them there.

That Italian couple died only a few months apart. A broken heart perhaps.
