I have been listening to Art Bell in March 2023 repeatedly, I remember when I was 9 years old exploring YouTube (it was better in 2007-08.) Then I seen The Frantic Area 51 Caller and "The Sounds of Hell" Then I got amazed by Travis Walton, Jonathan Reed, and Sasquatch from Art Bells show... Sasquatch has been spotted in McGaffey NM and my auntie caught a picture of it on her security camera - she had to babysit her coworkers daughter and her parents gave her two whistles to let my auntie know how far away she was. Just before sundown she and her were playing with the whistles and out of nowhere they heard whistles from The Woods, they got scared and never blew the whistle. My Friends Uncle had a terrifying experience with Sasquatch in Crystal Creek Reservoir Colorado and ever since then he has been afraid of the woods to the point where his son was wanting to go fishing with him. He never set foot in the woods or rivers again... He passed away before I got situated with the belief of Sasquatch. Art Bell made me a believer. Im 488 miles from Roswell NM. Its amazing what I discovered in Boyd Bushman's findings of Roswell NM. I wish he and Art Bell would've met:]

Art Bell spent more time with me during my life than my own parents did. This man helped me through some very hard times in my life. We miss you Art! 😱
  • People still being into Art Bell is amazing. Love this guy. Wish he was around today to see the world, I'd still be listening

  • We had a fishing cabin way up in Northern Wisconsin and on Saturday nights we'd listen to the local reservation Saturday night honky tonk evening, then we'd get Art Bell on AM radio out of Cleveland, OH and fall asleep listening to skinwalker ranch, area 51, ghosts, etc....great memories.

I used to love listening to his show driving late. You’d either get complete loonies, interesting fringe science or news that would hit the mainstream ten years later. And no matter how crazy the guests or callers were, art just rode it with his signature, noncommittal style and good interviewing. Fun times.

I remember the first time I heard Art. It was a warm summer night in 1999 at 2am. I was eastbound on route 480 after seeing a friends band play at a bar in Westlake, Ohio. After scanning the AM radio dial I selected WTAM 1100 when I heard this deep voice say, “Ladies and gentlemen, I am about to play a recording for you of a Bigfoot asking for a glass of water.” I was hooked and listened every night for that day forward.

Greatest talk show host, really innovative and professional.
  • His mind was going in the right direction. Everyone should want to learn more about the mysteries in our world.
  • I really miss my friend Art and our talks! And think of him often. Sometimes when I'm doing my show some topic brings my thoughts to Art!

I missed visiting Art Bell by a few minutes! In 1991, I lived in Southern California and went to Las Vegas on a Friday night and ended up in Plaza Hotel casino. It was 3 or 4 in the morning when It occurred to me OMG this is the hotel where Art broadcast his radio show. I went up a very wide and carpeted flight of stairs in the back of the casino hoping to find the radio station and by luck I saw KDWN sign above a door. I entered. I walked a few more steps into a narrow hallway and realized I’m standing behind a glass wall and the radio microphone and heavy cigarette odor. I asked a guy (he happened to be the producer) and he said, yes, you just missed Art by a couple of minutes. The show had ended and he had gone home. Interesting to think back in those days there were no security around and anyone could’ve walked in and met him. Art was the stuff of fairytales.

Its amazing seeing his set up, just a spare room with hard wood floors. Now pod casts with 100 subs have a studio with sound proofing everywhere.
