I would love to see you do a thrift store (like Goodwill or Savers). It would be fun to do it as a competition with someone else and maybe even set a budget. And you can stick with the "dirt doesn't count" but everything else must come from the store.

I found the best way to make holes in harder acrylic is to heat up an awl in an open flame & then while still hot push it through the acrylic, it needs to get red hot! Doing on a gas cooker is best so you can rest the awl in the flame.

Every time you use a paintbrush to nudge a spider on its way, I feel vindicated for using toilet paper "hammocks" to remove spiders from my bathtub. It's not silly if it works!

I've also got a clear Michael's paint can set up, got a scorpion in mine, maybe wait a little before doing a dollar store build that way they have more Halloween stuff to pick from.
