    Time tales looks super sweet. I love that book you got for your girls about the higene... I did know that gather round was coming with a unit like that... sounds interesting!

    We used both TG&TB multiplication songs and Times Tales and found Times Tales so much better. TG&TB songs started to sound similar and without the pictures my daughter couldn't remember the song (nor could I). With Times Tales there are little stories that we found easier to recall and use when doing math work.

    Just a heads up on the math as it took me by surprise (we previously had used the old version of math 3 and this was very different!), it does not teach the multiplication concept. It relies on memorization of multiplication rather than really drilling the grouping/arrays concept first. It took me by surprise because the old version was terrific and this one I had to pause to teach the concept much deeper.

    We love TGTB language arts!!! My older kids loved the world biographies!!! We don’t do language arts daily as we do gather round!!! Even tho we use pdfs I make sure that we have the downloads ready!!! We live In Sydney so pdfs are better.
