I used to say I'd rather buy a house with that money, but they aren't affordable anymore either! 😭
  • I have a 2019 RAM Limited half ton I purchased new in 2019. It has been the BEST truck I've ever owned and I've owned over 15 trucks total. I have over 80K miles and have had zero problems, it's never been in the shop. I perform all of the oil changes and preventive maintenance items on it myself. The truck rides like the day I purchased it, quiet, great ride and no squeaks or rattles. It is just a great tuck. I love the air suspension especially when I tow my 9,500 lb. trailer. I am getting 19 MPH both highway and in town driving. I waited for the manufacturer rebates and got $20K off. Having said that, the GMC front end looks so amazing, what a great looking truck!. The RAM looks great and it does look better with the refresh but the GMC still looks nicer. When I look at the GMC small sunroof, not a true flat floor rear, and the interior is still just not that great, I think overall the RAM would be a nicer truck to own. So this video really summed it up well and RAM is a better truck.

Tungsten is super nice. But, for $90,000 it need interior color options besides blue

That ram interior cannot be beaten

I have a 2019 new version ram and touch wood it has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned, my going from luxury vehicle to luxury vehicle was nothing but time consuming and frustrating except for the lexis 350 hybred when they first came out. Range Rover ,BMW X5, MERCEDES ML350 all rubbish from problems our 2014 Grand Cherokee was pretty good once the series of recalls was over, but the 1500 longhorn nothing but oil changes
  • I love everything about the Ram, I kinda feel like it’s the Grand Wagoneer for Ram.
  • @ZmannR2
The GMC offers a 3.0 Duramax that gets 28-32 mpg. I’d say that’s a HUGE win there.
  • @karlb8069
I can't wait to test drive the Ram.

The question was "KING OF LUXURY". Ram, since 2019, has risen to the occasion of leading that space. Sure, it wont have the max tow or haul numbers, but Ram fully understands that isn't what this specific class is all about. Most of the buyers in this class already own some type of luxury vehicle, but sometimes they prefer a truck to do truck things. We also must take into account that the pickup has become the de-facto family vehicle in many American homes, so it certainly makes sense to offer a luxury variant. With Ram, it is apparent that the product planners get it. Everything that is touched or seen reminds the owner of luxury. They went so far as to completely change the seating, which is not shared with any other Ram trim. Sure it is more expensive, but it offers an additional 120hp, air suspension, more opulent rear seating accommodations(GMC offering only one interior 120V plug in a truck is a huge miss), vastly superior audio system, panoramic moonroof, 2Kw bed inverter(missed point there), bed cover(another missed point), painted wheel flares, and better storage solutions for just $4K more. The GMCs 6.2 V8 is a gem of an engine ans always has been, and I do still like the styling of the Sierra. But I'd take a standard Denali and save thousands since the Ultimate really doesnt make a clear separation like Ram does from Limited to Tungsten.

I've got a 2021 RAM LIMITED and I have absolutely loved this truck. I moved over to RAM from Ford and couldn't be happier. Interior quality, ride, suspension, and looks are just much better in the RAM, IMO.
  • @Spoolingturbski
The Ram interior is just next level… it’s superior in every metric. But the styling of the Denali in black and that V8 would probably sway me.
  • @DaRevrin
Price wise they both lose, nobody can afford these. But truck vs truck ram wins this easy.

I've had a 2020 Ram Longhorn put up 75k on it in 2 years, i had 2 issues with it. The moonroof leaked and a manifold bolt broke. That was it, super fun to drive but the suspension wasn't the best (non-air) on tight curvy highways going the speed limit. I now have a GMC 2022 refreshed Denali with super cruise and both trucks have their differences for sure. The seats in the GMC are like sitting on boards, and the moonroof is small. Not to mention I had a leak in it as well a month or so ago. I bought it new and I love the truck especially the Super Cruise. The Super Cruise is a deal breaker for me, it truly is a awesome feature for the truck and other automobiles in the GM family. The shifters in my opinion goes to GMC, its feels smoother than the Rams almost a more natural movement. Informant center I had issues with in the Ram often, but not often enough to go get it checked out for warranty. The sound system in the Ram wasn't the greatest, I like the GMC Bose system better. I'm gonna test drive the new Ram when it becomes more available, its looks like a really comfortable ride. I want to see how their hands free system works. Good review for the time period.
  • @karlb8069
I like the tailgate and exhaust on the Denali but the Ram as the better overall truck.
  • @cantbsdave
Another 2019 Ram Limited owner here bought new in 2019. Been a great truck. My 2015 Yukon Denali was in the shop 7 times in the first 18 months of ownership.
  • @jivetalk1045
I own the RAM Longhorn Limited, and I absolutely love it!!!
  • @onefast_yami911
I have 2021 built to serve Airforce edition 1500 with 115k miles on it.. the ride is amazing ... i tow alot, boats, jetskis, 9k weight toy hauler never has left me stranded has the power to go anywhere love it best truck i ever own... i did put a bigger ppe transmission pan to lower the temps since i used it for tow and its just amazing i belive i have 393 gears on it so my tow its closed to 12k towing ... the transmission i believe its zf 8hp70 and i change my engine oil, transmission oil (yes i do change) every 60k miles because on the zf recommends it not life time like ram says it is.... also change axles and the 4x4 convertor runs like a champ very happy!!!
