I worked with her years back in another Thai restaurant and she definitely worked her way up to learn everything about the business. This took many hours, days and years for her while also studying at the same time. She never gave up, was always dedicated to her family and I was glad to visit the first location when it was in Queens. I no longer live in New York, working overseas now but if I do return. I'd definitely make an effort to visit the other locations. Glad to see her story finally here. Good work Ploy!!! 😌👌🏽💕

5:14 bruh that whole convo 😂

This is inspiring. We must protect family restaurants such as this one. Stop making your routine to go to fast food restaurants when you’re hungry, instead help out a local business and get an amazing meal!!🧡

Asians are very family oriented I have noticed. Every Asian American I met when they introduce me to their families they all have such a tight knit bond with one another from parents, siblings, uncles and aunts. And also my favorite Thai cuisine is Isaan North East Thai. Love Som Tum with sticky rice and steamed or fried fish and a platter of mixed vegetables 👌

I used to live across the street from LOOK and would go all the time. They're the nicest people, and the pork blood noodle soup is incredible. It's the closest thing to the boat noodle soups I got when I was in Thailand. Everything on their menu is great too....the isaan sausage, this fried mackerel with sides. Glad to see they're getting this coverage.

There was a mother, daughter, and brother combo that ran a Thai food truck in my area. I miss the truck, they opened my eyes to trusting a chef. It’s been the only place I could always say the special and it was new and I loved it.
