From Big Law to war reportage in 2 years: the struggle to abandon your old self and rebuild new. "Only by starting all over again did I realize that it all has to do with confidence: the irrational dimension of dreaming." Graduate from the Sorbonne with top honors, Greta Cristini has an extraordinary career ranging from anti-corruption lawyering in New York to serving as a geopolitical analyst. For years, she conducted criminal and civil investigations on a global scale, tackling complex issues in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East for Wall Street-listed multinationals.
Back in Italy, she honed her training as a geopolitical analyst at the Limes School of Geopolitics and Governance, writing articles on the Russian-Ukrainian war and the American landscape. Greta spent several months as a freelance reporter in the Ukrainian conflict, documenting civilian life and key battles.
In 2023, she published "Geopolitics. Understanding the World at War," a book that blends geopolitical analysis with journalistic reporting.
In addition to being a guest on radio, podcasts and TV to comment on current events, Greta regularly gives seminars and lectures at universities, associations and companies. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
