Is Minecraft really dying? Are we just getting bored of the game? Or is it because of Mojang… well hopefully my perspective of these topics help with these questions. Now I’m sure a lot of you will agree with me and some of you might not, but I still love this game and I’m not hating on Mojang or the developers since they are only human after all. I hope you enjoy the video and if you do, don’t forget to like and subscribe for more awesomeness.

Love you all :)

I feel like you have not thought about a lot of the points you have made. For example, you mentioned how influencers such as Dream could influence the mob vote through twitter which was a problem, but this has been fixed because you no longer vote on twitter but instead in the minecraft launcher. I believe the mob vote should stay, but needs to be changed as it is useful for bringing the community together and raising interest in the game, but the current way it is brings too much controversy. Some features I do agree seem unnecessary and pointless such as the sniffer, and I hope Mojang can be more careful in making decisions. I also can't believe you fell into the crowd of people who saw the April Fools 2024 snapshot update and like an npc repeated that Mojang spends most of their time on the april fools updates. The april fools updates are just a bunch of random stuff and features put together and also used to test which features to implement in actual future updates. And as for whether minecraft should be harder or not, I believe that the difficulty should stay the same as the game as meant to be played by all ages, and it would not be reasonable to make it more challenging for less experienced or younger players. I think what can be done instead is with the existence of more harder challenges or events such as the trial chambers, to provide for players who seek challenge. And also different people say all kinds of new additions to minecraft feel modded. When the warden was added, there was a group people saying that the warden feels modded. Same goes for the armadillo, but I personally feel like it fits right into the game. What makes you think it does not fit vanilla minecraft? You could have explained why, you know? Also, I don't know how to feel about the mace, but I don't think it will ruin minecraft and it seems fun. It is a very rare item and is situational, as you won't be killing wardens underground super easily when encountering them. Also why would the mace be a bad addition to minecraft? You say its OP, but is that a good enough reason why it shouldn't be added? You need to explain yourself more.

It takes so incredibly long to fix bugs in a game. I develop full scale games for a living and I can tell you that putting in features is only about one fifth of what actually goes down. The feature needs to be approved by a large amount of people, then bug fixing which takes on average maybe 2 to 3 months of testing and tweaking before it can be actually added. What I can say for certain, though, is that Mojang DOES NOT need to add new things to minecraft anymore. With the exception of Fortnite, I can't name any other games that entirely change after its' initial release and has remained successful, so be grateful we're even getting these updates and features.

I found the sniffer on my SMP Half-Life world with my friends and created a fence wall around my base with it inside.

100% Agreeable, let alone that if you create a new world that damn Warden spawns freacking everywhere anytime, all you have to do is try to 100% complete a cave or even easier, simply dig down, no way to avoid that cr*p

4:35 - mod creators don't have to worry about even a quarter of the things mojang do. 4:41 - do you want them to not hype up their product? i understand it is a little annoying when they hype up the sniffer like it's the next big thing to minecraft but... marketing is important.

i still remember that new boss they tweeted on twitter just for them to delete it and act as if people didnt remember what they were talking about, thats just prove mojang is lazy to code things in the game

honestally a great vid but with your point of playing with friends... what if u have no friends? but honestlly great vid and u earned a sub. Edit: I sadly disagree about the mace. its very hard to get and is also very skill required. Plus I hope to see more minecraft content. :)

Sure, magical ponies in Call of Duty doesn't make sense, but it's sure as hell fun and silly. To me, the Elytra and Mace don't feel out of place. They were odd at first glance, but allow you to play in even more ways. The thing to remember is that at it's core, Minecraft is a sandbox. If you want to use the mace, go for it. If you want to raid an Ancient City, do it. If building a full netherite beacon in survival is what engages you, grind it. If you playing horror mods is more your speed, run for it. Or if you just want to sit back and explore an infinite world and not even worry about defeating the dragon, that's fine as well. If mods give you more enjoyment, by all means, use them. There's a reason you can play any version you want. There's no wrong way to play.
