In May 2018, as part of the national ""Gathering the Fragments"" project, two diaries were donated to Yad Vashem, documenting the activities of the Jewish children's home in Chardonne, Switzerland, during World War II. In one of the diaries was a last letter attributed to Léo Cohn with the title ""farewell letter from our dear leader Léo Cohn who has gone to an unknown destination."""

Such a beautiful testimony on the power of love. The love for family. The love for humanity.

So, so sad and painful as it is . . . . . . . Thank you for this extremely invaluable work which must continue on and on, generation on generation for as Samuel Johnson wrote, "People need to be reminded more than they need to be instructed." Thank you!
