Carpenter bees eating the house

It’s a nice warm sunny day in May in RI. The carpenter bees are out dive bombing each other and crashing into the house. They like to play rugby with each other. I put Bee-Licious pheromone in the bee trap to lure them in. The drones are males with no stinger and like to intimidate by staring me in the eyes. I wear eyeglasses and they’ll get three or four inches up close to look at their reflection in the lenses and to say hello. If they didn’t chew up the house I’d let them be, they’re quite social.
