I watched a guy jump into somebody's truck and move it forward. When the guy came out he was pissed. I told him I see didn't nothing.

I learned how to operate heavy equipment at 19 yrs old in the ARMY in 1981 Germany. Since then so much had changed. Came off OTR 12 years ago to work locally around Columbus Ohio. I would never ever want to go back to OTR. 5 years to retirement and I'm happy with being home everyday and home on wknds. There's been a dying breed of truckers for a while now and it will never be the same. Good luck to all you real professionals out there stay safe and Keep On Trucking.

The new thing I been seeing lately is the turbin flip flop drivers are pretending they are fueling by putting the fuel handle in the tanks ,they have thier backpack on then go inside to shower so heads up drivers if you see that then you know what's up.

I feel sorry for anybody starting out in 2024 driving a truck OTR. . I just got a local job and I'm never going back to that mess ... 80% of the drivers aren't from USA and have no clue how to act like a professional driver.

I’ve gotten to where I’m writing off Loves truck stops. A majority of the bs I encounter at truck stops in the fuel islands are at a Loves.

Ike: You should make up some 12"round decals that say " I am a Bonehead Trucker that likes to Block the Fuel Island". You could sell them to the good truckers to put on the drivers side window. Maybe they will get the hint. (LOL)

From my experience of 15 years of OTR, I found that most drivers were good folks . However, the few drivers who were inconsiderate & downright disgusting put all drivers in a bad light. I quit OTR in 2007. And got a local job driving a concrete mixer for a major concrete co. working up to a supervisor position from this channel, I can see things have only gotten worse. I respect all of you good drivers, do what you can to weed out the bad drivers & return the industry back into a respectful job.
