COPPA (explained)

THIS VIDEO CONTAINS PROFANITY. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Last year, YouTube and Alphabet Inc. were forced to pay a $170 Million fine for violating the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), for collecting data on minors based on the videos they watch, so more videos could be recommended to them. Now, creators are being demonetized and sued left and right, and the FTC must be held accountable for the pain they have caused for thousands of channels.

And in case it wasn't clear enough, no, my videos are not meant for children. YouTube may say otherwise, but I am saying they are not. You heard it here first. Move along, FTC. #youtubeisoverparty

Also, apologies for the error at 6:14. I said that Nas X would be sued by YouTube, but he would actually be sued by the FTC. Sorry about that

They do know that there is such thing as YouTube Kids, right? Also, I still think it is a good idea for me to make a video about the Cartoon Network Hotel. Do you want me to do it? Let me know by replying to this comment. We will get through this. It will be hard, but I know we will get through this. I promise. -Carp
