THE DRUMS. THE BASS. THE SAXPHONE. THE FUCKING GUITAR. OH MY GOD. One of the greatests songs of all time
  • @paulajatherton
Rest in Peace Charlie Watts, great drummer, always elegant and without ego. End of an era.
  • @lynnstephen
The drumming on this track (studio version) is one of the best in the history of rock n roll.

RIP, Charlie Watts. The backbone of the Rolling Stones.
  • @garcemac
Quite possibly the single greatest song ever written and recorded. Bobby Keys rest in peace brother.

My late mother liked the Beatles and thought the Stone's were posers and never had a good word to say about anything but I remember when this ended playing on the radio and she said, "I liked that". Made my day.

Wonderful footage of Charlie. The rock steady jazz drummer. Artist. Intellectual. Well dressed and polite. Not so quick to smile... more often it was his Cheshire grin...with a cheerful baby-wide smile when he did smile. He was rowdy as Bobby & Keith for a while but grew up. He lived in gratitude for the opportunities that he was able to catch, employ, and enjoy. He left the Stones, Rock culture, and our world better off for his gifts. -Doug Pratt, Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Oh Charlie... What a great drummer. Like a metronome. Apparently easy. Always what the song needs. Nothing more, nothing less. Rest in peace.

The greatest bar band in the world ever. And that's a compliment. They can play a stadium or the corner joint, no problem. Ronnie did well. Hats off and RIP to Charlie. Rock on forever.

RIP Charlie Watts, a great drummer and a perfect gentleman. I've been listening to you since 1964.
  • The late, GREAT, Bobby Keys, the Greatest sax player ever, probably why He was referred to as the Sixth Stone.
  • Bobby Keyes! RIP Brother man....you gave the Stones some USA/Texas soul!
  • Oh, what a great band always. I'm 71 years old now. Have been with since 1968. I loved all you all since then. This is the best thing you have done. In my opinion. Please keep rocking and entertaining all of us.
