I'm making these Coptic sketchbooks for an illustrator's project! I hope this video makes for some good cozy company, featuring some California sun.

I started bookbinding many years before but, as life is complex and chaotic, I lost it again. Then I found this very video, binge watched most of your content and started bookbinding again. Hi Chanel! If you don't mind, may I ask the weight of the paper you used to make the covers? ( 4:35 ) Are the weights of the papers you use in this project the same as the papers you use as endpapers in your hardcover books? Thank you in advance! 💐

Watching you make the covers I realized I usually use an exacto knife to cut cardboard but it’s quite hard and I end up hurting my hand by putt too much pressure on it. Does anyone know of a better tool or easier method?
