Having left New York, we drove down to Philadelphia to meet up with our friend @ChefChrisCho who knew about an unassuming pizza joint serving up some of Philly's finest Cheesesteaks for us to try for the very first time!

Thanks to Chris and Chief for coming out to film with us!

PHILLY WE OUT HERE!!! 🥳🥳🥳 thank you guys again for coming thru Philly. JOLLY 화이팅~~
  • @SaraLWood619
Oh thank goodness. Every time I see tourists do a cheesesteak video I hold by breath until I know they went anywhere but Pats or Geno’s. Good job getting local guidance. Angelos is solid.
  • @michaelm6179
A breath of fresh air to see people actually avoiding Genos and Pats and going to a better spot. Still waiting for the day Steve's appears on one of these, but Angelo's is definitely good too.
  • Tbh I like Chiefon's little quiet presence. I feel like I would be like him, just appreciating the jokes and banter and contributing when I can. Love it.
  • @pickanamehappy
Personally loved when he yelled "Go Birds!" and the guy in the background turned around right away, wearing an Eagles' hoodie, of course.
  • @dedlycuke
"That tastes like not being able to see your grandkids" is just a great quote!
  • Being from eastern PA, the meat, onions and peppers are relatively simple to replicate anywhere as long as you have decent ribeye and know how to season it. The big difference is the access to great bakeries making hard rolls.

I lived in Philly for four years after growing up in the Midwest and it is such an underrated city. There's a strong appreciation for finding good food and being real with folks. If I ever moved back to the US, I'd probably return there. Philly will forever have a strong place in my heart and I'm so glad you guys stopped there and I really hope there'll be some more episodes there

If JOLLY doesn’t hit the Terminal Market for a roast pork or some Hershel’s hot pastrami… they’re going to regret it.
  • @user-mg4bw5ly8r
They took you to a LEGIT place. Angelo's is probably one of the best in Philly.
  • @emilywynstra
Even though Jolly is hugely popular, I really appreciate the fact that they're still so down to earth...eating cheesesteaks on the street right out of the bag with a cop and bystanders coming in and out of the shot 🥰
  • @gamergirl6262
as someone who is born and raised in philly, but currently in nyc for college, this made me homesick but also very happy!!
  • @BoricuaTaco
Bro shoutout Chris for 1) taking yall to Angelo’s, because that place’s food (not just cheesesteaks) is fire, but 2) for putting yall up on Cooper’s sharp. Already knew he was a real one, this just confirms it

We do say "take a wizz" in America. I've heard it all my life.
  • @anne.s93
I’m a Korean-American born and raised in Philly, so this video made me incredibly happy 🥹 So hyped for this series, and (hopefully) your reactions to my childhood favorites - water ice, wawas, hoagies, etc ❤
  • @henny8027
Coming from somebody that’s from Philly I love the fact that you had someone from the city as a guide to give you the real tea
  • @jamiesuejeffery
I am celiac, which means no wheat for me. Eating wheat means three steps to a toilet for three days. The next time I visit Philly, I will book an extra three days in a hotel just to eat one of these sandwiches.
  • @mattb7479
I am so fucking happy that you went to Angelo's. Truly the best in Philly, and NEVER the one people in these types of videos go to. Love you guys so much!
  • I would like you to know: My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary a few days ago. We decided to go to Fogo de Chao, which is an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse doing Churrasco meats, where they bring the skewers around to the table. I knew I'd need to be hungry, so my strategy was to skip breakfast and then watch your videos all day. I was SO HUNGRY by the time we got to the steakhouse! LOL! Thank you for your help. LOVE your videos, and I'm just a 60 year old Grandma who lives in the desert in Arizona, USA. Thank you for the trips round the world, trying all of the delicious foods.
  • As someone who waited to have a cheesesteak until they were in Philly, I love getting to see Josh & Ollie trying them for the first time there as well. Having Chef Chris along for it is absolutely fantastic. The cross-over I didn't know I needed until now. :3
