I love that the vet covered what she was doing with the syringe with a cloth, never seen that before.Absolutel compassion.

Hearing his own story being narrated it would make even a stone cry

Anyone who has had to put their pet down in front of them let me just say from experience it is super painful and it literally breaks your heart

I'm not even joking when I say my chest and heart physically hurt when I was watching this. R.I.P Fletcher, I don't know you but I love you angel❤
  • What a precious gift to a loyal pet. My son is a veterinarian and he states that these are very hard to do, no matter how prepared everyone is, it is still difficult. My hat is off to your service for these families to provide a dignified end to a wonderful life. Fletcher seemed to be a good buddy. This video has made me sad and joyful at the same time. Joyful because the rainbow bridge promises a happier existence, sad because it would have been fun to know him in life. Thank you for sharing these precious moments.
  • I remember Joshua when I told him , "go to sleep now. Good night." We all cried. I missed those 11 years spent with my dog, Joshua.
  • Sandy, please know you did your best for Fletcher. And Fletcher knew this too.

I'm 71 and I can't stop the tears. Remembering my dog Tammy 50 years ago.
  • This one really touched my heart! I hope Sandy knows that what she did for her fur baby was the sweetest gift and he will love her forever!
  • I’ve read a couple of comments already here about how “wrong” it is to put a pet to sleep, and how we should remember they’re “God’s creations”, and we should “let them live until their last breath”, well I agree that they are God’s creations, but please don’t make things any harder for the pet owners whose pets are in fact suffering too much to live much longer than they already have with the pain and sickness they’re in! Having a pet put to sleep is nothing short of an act of love!
  • I’ve had 2 dogs that I loved like children - put to sleep. I’ve had my 4 day old son die in my arms after being taken off life support. Never take for granted those that love you. We have to be strong and make those painful decisions for our loved ones who cannot make it themselves.

How much fun Fletcher is having now and you will see him again some day. God Bless You for being so thoughtful and the vet as well.

My cat Tay, was very sick and dying. I had the vet come to my home to put him to sleep, as he didn't like going to the vets. I spent the morning cuddling him in my bed, saying goodbye. He was put to sleep on my lap in the living room where he was happy. It was very hard to do, but the best for him. I still miss him. My vet, is a lovely, caring, man and didn't even charge me. 💝

This is the most touching thing I’ve ever seen 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
  • We just put our best friend, Buster to sleep today at home. He was a good boy that spent his 16 years on earth with us. He also got to the point where he couldn’t walk or eat and he has now moved on to his next adventure. Thank you for your video, it was a beautiful.

Thanks to Fletcher’s mom for sharing this... It means a lot to me - I did the same with family dog Candy, my dog Eva and my housemate’s dog Odie... it was hard but it’s the best cuz no more pain for them and surely to miss them... Several of my friends did the same and share beautiful stories about their and our dogs. Again, thank you!!!!
  • @lindagray8935
You loved him enough to let him go. What a way to go. Its hard but you will have soooo many memories

Just beautiful..... what a beautiful story told! I hope that mom goes on with her life and Will always remember her puppy! You make a great idea to do IT in this way, instead of a cold iron table at the vet! Respect!!!
