I’m really enjoying these house vlogs you and Shelly are doing a marvellous job, I understand where you’re coming from regarding your electricity and the problems you are having. Quite a few years back we bought a brand new static caravan and had it sited on a quiet site, we had a lovely plot had it all decked out landscaped all the land around it was the bees knees but like you every to you put two or three items on eg.. the washer TV and the kettle off went the electric it was always tripping out but we did eventually manage to get the hang of it as I’m sure you will. We had four wonderful years in the van but eventually went back to bricks and mortar. I’m sure things will sort themselves out in the long run. I think you have a little gem there and I think both you and Shelly, Rolo and Bella will be very happy in your new home when all the hard work is finally finished. Please keep these vlogs continuing they are so entertaining I can’t wait for the next instalment xx

Its fantastic what you are doing but the number one thing you need to have from the owner is a bomb proof contract ,because all the work you are doing he could at any moment sell it when you have done all the work ,that is the first thing before anything else you should get done in total detail in writing before worring about anything else with dates

Ants! They are unstoppable, my advice is to try and live around them...dry pet food only, pets eat outside and get some sealable plastic boxes from China Town to store their food in. Be ruthless with cleaning and no food left out - ever! As you're in your forever home, I'd suggest talking to your landlord and upgrade the solar system. There are loads of deals around at the moment. Maybe go 50/50 with the landlord? We got our system from Green Group in Las Chafiras and haven't regretted it one bit It might be an idea to just bite the bullet and get a local electrician in to give the whole house a once over. Probably cost about 100€. He/she will have the answer to the Karcher dilema!

The main highlight of the video, after listening to all the problems you’ve both been dealing with, when Shelley arrives and gets out of the car at about 13:45, the smile on both of your faces says it all. The end result will be so worth all the hard work.

You 2 really are doing an amazing job. We know how long it takes to clean a home so you feel comfortable moving in. Does make you wonder how people live! Mice also love peanut butter, which can’t be lifted off and has to be licked off giving more time for the trap to snap. Get some ant powder and give the known areas a good dowsing, but you’re certainly getting there.

Hi Rick I think with the power of the Karcher you will need a more powerful generator. I think you would need an 8k generator. I used to set up pa’s and band set ups and we used to use generators anything with a bit of power would kill it but got an 8k generator and it helped massively. Hope that’s a help
