Cherish this man whilst he is with us. Absolute legend

As a 50yr old, slept in my car at st Andrew’s in order to see him play his last round there, and was very emotional when he stood on the swilken bridge for the last time. I was there to see him win in 1978 having slept in a tent. Got his autograph on the photo in the programme which I still cherish. He had time for everyone and respected everyone. Happy memories. Thanks Jack………

Jack explaining 86’ sent shivers down my spine. Amazing! Nick plz shhhhh when he’s talking.

I honestly didn't really plan on sitting and watching this entire hour-long interview, but these 2 legends kept me watching for the whole thing. It was awesome listening to them recount stories of their experiences past and a few details of their best friendships. I'm amazed at how Jack remembers so specifically not only past rounds he's played or the layout of each course, but he remembers EVERY SINGLE SHOT, and even the distance to the pin after each shot! INCREDIBLE! Thanks for this one, Nick! This was a real pleasure to watch.
  • For me, the greatest moment in sports (all sports) was the 86 Masters. I so clearly recall standing in my brothers kitchen watching Jack walk up the 18th fairway to the roar of the crowd. I knew I was watching the most incredible moment in golf history and I had to stand and clap my hands as tears rolled down my face. I’m 72 now but I remember that moment as if it was yesterday. Jack was and remains my favorite golfer of all times. What an amazing man and thank you Nick for the privilege of sharing this time with the two of you.
  • I've listened to Mr Nicklaus for forty five years and I don't think I've ever heard him talk other than common sense with wisdom dignity and respect. I met him in 2010 in Manchester and was a nervous wreck. I was present at his ceremony in St Andrews last year with my daughter. A day we will remember forever. Seen him play at the masters and many opens. Thanks for all the great shots!!!!

Nick big fan, please let Jack speak, stop interrupting!!!!
  • The greatest golfer I've ever had the privilege to watch, his 86 masters win was a pure joy to watch. Among his fantastic career.
  • There is no ‘argument’ about it,Sir Nick, you have just interviewed the greatest ever golfer - that was awesome .

Jack isn't just the greatest golfer of all time, he's a great husband, father, and grandfather. Jack and Barbara have done so much for their children's hospital and other charities, they are both amazing people. Young athletes, male and female, should learn what a gracious sport Jack was and try to emulate him. Jack Nicklaus' total class is a disappearing commodity in sports.

Oh my gosh this is so wonderful. I started playing golf in 1972 and tried my best to copy Jack’s swing, mental focus, and gentlemen demeanor. Brings a tear to my eye.
  • That was a great gesture from you Sir Nick. Class act, you two are part of the reason golf is a gentlemen's game.
  • Sipping my morning coffee, absorbing life and golf wisdom from two legendary gentlemen.

Enjoyed it. I hope constructive criticism isn't an issue, and it's something all hosts should do: please listen at least twice longer than you talk, and it's okay to not talk about yourself. When someone interviews Nick Faldo, I want to hear Nick Faldo. If Nick Faldo interviews Jack Nicklaus, I want to hear Jack Nicklaus.

This was an hour of pure golf gold! Thank you so much for this

This is excellent. I got to shake Jack's hand at The Memorial back in the early 90's. On a tee. I was up at the rope and his caddy put the bag down in front of me. Jack came over to get his club and I instinctively reached out my hand, and he shook it. What a day when I was young. Will never forget it.
  • That was fantastic! Thanks Nick for having Jack on and it was a real treat to see you two having a chat. Awesome.
  • @Leer1969
It's just two great mates just chatting about golf not an interview as such,I for one loved the warm affection between two golfing icons 😊
