In this video i get some long-standing things off my chest. I can't hide it for any longer. I'm scared to drive. Even more scared with it's raining and it's nighttime.

What I hate the most BY FAR about driving is how hard it is to watch Tik Toks and drive a lifted truck at the same time

My favorite part about driving is the fact that I could be sitting at a stop light, listening to 'Ice Ice Baby' by popular musician Vanilla Ice, while enjoying an Icee the is 3/4 Dr Pepper and 1/4 cotton candy, and get absolutely smoked by a teenager who is watching a tik tok instead of paying attention to the icy roads.

the worst is being tailgated. like im already going 10 over and people will just drive literally a foot away from my bumper like they have a death wish, all so they could maybe get to their destination 30 seconds earlier. its genuinely baffling and it happens nearly every single time im driving.

Despite Ian clearly having little eperience driving in snow/ice, he somehow perfectly captured the feeling
  • Is it just me or does it look like iDubbbz gotten into a fight with a pair of scissors. It looks like he went to home base with a lawn mower. It looks like he went canoodling with a scyther. Keen eyed viewers like me have noticed.

Another thing I hate is the evils of insurance companies, paying £1000 a year for them to bet on my demise, and when someone else hits me they jack up the price even more despite not being at fault UGH

Remember kids, you're not stuck in traffic, you are the traffic.

I used to work at a gas station, the amount of people just normaly drinking beer while pulling up for gas and driving away was incredible, like wtf
  • Oh please do a part 2; this is the most relatable thing in the world. I always drive and think that only 1 person in the world should be allowed to drive at the same time
  • @necro-esque666
Fun fact about that guy driving through the parade, he was convicted for canoodling with some kids

One of the strangest phenomena that I experienced while driving is literal just being on autopilot, or “highway hypnosis” as its called. Its a surreal feeling because you get so used to driving for so long, you don’t even think about it.

I've always thought it was crazy that we casually drive these metal death traps and the only thing stopping us from hitting another metal death trap at fatal speeds is a line of yellow paint.

I still remember my first minor accident where I bumped into the back of a persons car while I was trying to merge to another lane during a very rainy night and all you can see are the droplets of rain, each reflecting the light from the high beams of every passing cars on the opposite lane. It was hell driving at night during a heavy rain. This was way before I got an AR coated night driving glasses which helps reduce the glare from oncoming car's headlights.

I agree with a lot of the stuff you said here, fun vid! Something I find insane is the way we have people learn to drive is just by dropping them in the deep end and hopefully they figure it out before they crash the vehicle. No real practice before hand, just some general dos and don’ts and then you’re on the road.

One time it was snowing really bad and the roads hadn’t been plowed and I asked my boss if there was enough work to justify me coming in (it had been slow) and he said yes. I came in, there was maybe 30 minutes worth of work to do and when I asked my boss why he made me come in he said “well everyone else had to, one of your coworkers even had to walk here today”. Genuinly 0 human compassion from these businesses in America.
  • @FreddyOJohnny
As a car enthusiast who loves driving, I couldn’t agree more that people who don’t enjoy driving shouldn’t feel like it’s their only option. I wish America had more options for those people, so that they can travel without driving, and those of us that do enjoy it don’t have to deal with over crowded roads and less than confident drivers causing unsafe situations. Also drivers licenses in America are WAY too easy to obtain, and teach you nothing about proper road etiquette such as proper use of the passing lane, etc.

great video, mr. Dubbbz! I really like your sensible, ranty, honest takes. have been a fan ever since the Kickstarter days, and love your newer videos as much as the old stuff.

Being ok with speed cameras is the stupidest take ever
